Congratulations on your Retirement Mrs. Yolanda Salazar-Meave!

Happy Retirement Mrs. Meave! The best educational leaders lead by example rather than just with words. You are one such leader! Thank you for being you and showing us the way. We wish you a healthy, wealthy, long and happy retirement. Your dedication, patience and kindness will never be forgotten. We couldn’t have had a better leader. Thank you for everything and have a wonderful retirement. You will be GREATLY missed.

Diaz-Villarreal Elementary School newly elected Student Council took its oath and promised to carry out the duties sincerely and diligently. As representatives, they will make an important contribution to our school, and will learn about democracy and government in the process.

On behalf of Diaz-Villarreal Elementary student body and staff, we’d like to thank, La Joya Municipal Judge Alejandro “Alex” Cantu, for acting as our ceremony judge.
