Diaz-Villarreal Elementary School newly elected Student Council took its oath and promised to carry out the duties sincerely and diligently. As representatives, they will make an important contribution to our school, and will learn about democracy and government in the process.

Congratulations to our Soccer team who qualified for the championship! Our 4th and 5th grade student team tied with Flores Elementary (1-1) and won against Benavides Elementary (2-0), which qualified them for the championship grame against JFK Elementary 3-1. Our students defeated Seguin Elementary 3-2. We are SUPER PROUD of our team! WAY TO GO, DV!!! Congratulations for your great effort and for playing an excellent game.
