Diaz-Villarreal Elementary Student Council planned and organized an Arbor Day 2022 - Planting of Trees event Thank you to our DV Student Council President, Isabella Ibarra (with the help of her parents) who reached out to our community for tree donations to ensure every grade level had their own tree so that every student participated in this National Holiday. Each grade level planted one tree with the "belief that the tree will grow to provide us with clean air and water, cooling shade, habitat, a healthier outdoor environment and endless natural beauty - all for a better tomorrow" (Arbor Day Foundation, 2022).
