🚌❤️ National School Bus Safety Week | October 19–23, 2026

La Joya ISD joins communities nationwide in recognizing National School Bus Safety Week and reinforcing one shared priority: keeping students safe on and around the school bus.

This year’s theme, “Safe Rides, Everyday Heroes,” recognizes the dedicated transportation professionals who safely serve our students each day. We thank our bus drivers, monitors, mechanics, dispatchers, and transportation staff for their commitment to providing safe and dependable transportation across our district. 👏🏼🚌

Families and motorists can help by slowing down, staying alert, and never passing a stopped school bus when its red lights are flashing. Together, we can help ensure every student arrives safely.
